About Coach Christen
Christen Stott is born and raised in Detroit, MI. She is a very proud alumni of Cass Technical High School and Michigan State University. A true die hard green and white fan. Christen also attended law school which would fulfill her desire to serve people and allow them to achieve their desired results of justice or winning. That dream was cut short when her life spun in a different direction after failing out in her second year. Although this was not the intended result Christen preserved. It was during this time, she regrouped got back into the work force utilized her skills and purpose chased her down and came knocking at her door.
The call to become a life coach was monumental and instrumental in the new phase of Christen’s life. Christen decided that law school was not a far-fetched concept. Her desire to serve her community wasn’t about the law it was about the people.
You can’t solve a person’s problem until you know what the needs of the person are. Based on all of the experiences Christen had, she knew that the key to whatever she did, it involved helping others find resolve to their issues; having goals/tasks that they would be accomplishing together; finding purpose and getting others to become whole by overcoming barriers and obstacles in their way. Unbeknownst to her, life coaching is the title for what she wanted to do. Quite frankly she had been doing that her whole life any way. It was then that God led her to become a coach.
Since her call to become a coach has been confirmed, she’s groomed her talent of coaching and has emerged as a motivational speaker. As a speaker she has competed in several contests and competitions in the area in her local Toastmasters, International organization. She has a knack for children and serves as a mentor to youth within the City of Detroit. Her passion is helping kids explore their strengths and be who they are called to be. Her latest endeavor is as a podcast host. Christen has just launched, Elle Squared in March. Her podcast show is a combination of her as a person, a life coach, ex-wife, girlfriend, millennial on the go who provides insight on the issue that plague us as women and how we can evolve together. Christen wants everyone to embrace their S.T.A.R. Qualities and never dull their shine.
